Nestor · About · Sheet 01 of 05
you want a sales team that never loses a good deal to silence. here’s the thinking behind it.
Nestor is named for the counselor who advised kings: the one voice in the room who remembered what had been said and knew what to do next. We built a CRM to play that part for small and mid-sized sales teams.
§ 02 — The problem
most pipelines fail by omission
A sales team of six does not lose deals to a better competitor nearly as often as it loses them to a quiet week. A proposal goes out on a Tuesday, a reply never comes, and by the following Wednesday nobody can say who was meant to follow up or what was last promised.
The tools meant to prevent this tend to make it worse. They were designed for the manager’s report rather than the rep’s morning, so reps feed them reluctantly, the data thins out, and the forecast becomes a guess dressed in a chart.
A CRM should be something a rep opens because it helps, not because someone is checking.
Nestor starts from the opposite end. The board, the score and the timeline exist to answer one question for the person holding the phone: which opportunity deserves my next hour? The reporting for everyone else is simply what falls out of that.
§ 03 — Principles
five rules we check every feature against
If a proposed feature breaks one of these, it does not ship, however good it looks in a demo.
- I
the rep comes first
Every screen is judged by whether it saves a rep a minute on Monday. Manager views are built from what reps already do, never from extra data entry.
Test: zero new fields - II
a number must show its working
A lead score opens into engagement and fit. A forecast breaks into closed, commit and best case. Nobody should have to take a black box on trust.
Test: can it be argued with - III
your stages, not ours
Teams sell differently. Stage names, order and win probabilities are yours to set, and the whole product follows your drawing of the process.
Test: rename without support - IV
silence is a signal
An idle deal is information. Nestor flags it at the threshold you choose and attaches the last thing said, so the follow-up is a minute’s work.
Test: nothing goes quiet unseen - V
prices you can read in one glance
Three plans, billed once a year, with the limits written beside the price. No seat calculators, no add-on tiers hidden behind a call.
Test: fits on a postcard
§ 04 — How it is built and supported
one record per person, and a quiet product around it
The architecture is deliberately plain: every email, call and meeting attaches to a single contact, and every other view reads from there.
the contact record is the source
Boards, scores and forecasts are all views over the same timeline. Edit a deal on the board and the forecast moves, because there is only one place the fact lives.
imports that merge first
People, companies and past threads are matched before a duplicate ever reaches the board.
support by email, answered by people who use it
Write to support@nestoragency.com. Questions about stages, scoring and forecasts are answered by the people who maintain those features.
§ 05 — Where it is going
the next drawings on the table
Direction rather than dates. We would sooner ship one thing that holds up than announce five that don’t.
- Now
sharper scoring
More behaviours a team can choose to reward, each one shown in the score breakdown.
- Next
forecasts that explain themselves
Week-on-week movement per rep, with the deals behind each change named in the line.
- Later
more threads on the timeline
Further support, call and delivery tools feeding the same record, beside the emails already there.
§ 06 — Begin
you now know how nestor thinks. see what it costs.
Three plans, from $89 a year. Open the board on Monday and let a ranked list write your week.
